Authority is a multi-operator affiliate publishing system: rankings, reviews, guides and editorial workflows on one structured foundation.
Authority → Setup
Activating the theme opens Authority → Setup once; you can reopen it from Authority → System → Setup. Setup walks through the system check, the required components, the licence, the brand, an optional starter site, integrations and the optional AMP step. See Installing Authority.
Where settings live
- Authority → Branding / Colors / Typography / Header / Footer — the design of the publication. These settings live in Core, so they survive theme updates.
- Authority → Starter Sites — sample content for staging sites. See Starter Sites.
- Authority → Integrations — AI and search providers, SEO ownership and AMP.
- Authority → Import / Export — every Core design setting as a versioned JSON file.
- Authority → System — status of every component, with Activate / Repair / Update, Run diagnostics and Download report.
Child theme
The optional child theme, authority-child.zip, is a separate download for your own CSS and template overrides.
